EUWI+ assists three countries Moldova, Belarus and Georgia in harmonising and improving of audit techniques and reporting according the ISO standard 17025:2017

On 12 and 13 September, there was a regional 2-day audit training workshop carried out by UBA experts in Chisinau, Moldova with 15 participants from the designated partner laboratories from Moldova, Belarus and Georgia.

The audit seminar addressed in particular laboratory personnel responsible for carrying out internal audits in their own accredited testing laboratories with the aim to assist the implementation and professionalization of audit principles and practices in their daily work.  

The aim of the training was to harmonise and improve the knowledge of audit techniques & reporting as well as use and implementation of audit findings.

Internal audits are required to be conducted at planned intervals to provide information about the laboratory´s conformity with its own requirements for its management system and laboratory activities including the new and changed requirements of EN ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and ISO 19011: 2011 (& 2017 draft) guidance on auditing management systems. The focus was mainly on principles of auditing, managing an audit programme, conducting management system audits and on competences of auditors.

The seminar had an interactive approach with both theoretical inputs and practical exercises in group works for the participants. At the end each participants received a certificate of training.
