The Artois-Picardie water agency
The Artois-Picardie Water Agency is a public institution of the Ministry in charge of Ecology and Sustainable Development. It is one of the 6 French water agencies created by the water law of 1964. The water agency participates in the implementation of national policies related to water and aquatic environments. With the adoption of the Water Framework Directive in October 2000, these policies are themselves part of the objectives of the European Union.

EUWI+ is designed to support water policy reform in the six EaP countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine. The European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) provides a framework for closer relations between the EU and its neighbouring countries.
