Kura workshop "What is River Basin Management Plan", 3rd July 2018

The workshop on practical introduction to River Basin Management Plan (RBMP) development of the Kura upstream Mingachevir dam took place on 3rd July, 2018 at Caspian Plaza, Baku. The main objectives of the workshop were better understanding the main principles and objectives of River Basin Management planning, as well as discussing on the key issues and practical approaches to the river basin characterisation of the upstream Kura pilot basin. The workshop also aimed to ensure coordination between various actors of RBMP development, including Surface and Groundwater Delineation teams, ESCS (Ecological Status Classification System) development and survey, involvement of basin stakeholders and Public Consultations, etc.
