With the support of the “European Union Water Initiative Plus for the Eastern Partnership” (EUWI+) project, the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, gathers together the experts and water stakeholders, as established by the European water framework directive, to seek their views on the futur for waters in the Khrami/Debed River on March 21, 2019.
The consultation runs during one month from 15 March to 15 April 2019.
Why respond to the consultation?
To guarantee good drinking water quality, safe leisure activities, thriving economic activities, preserved biodiversity and aquatic life, a river basin management plan is in progress in Khrami/Debed river basin district. To better take into account your concerns for the water management during the next years, we need your opinion on the main identified water challenges. You have the opportunity to give your feedback on these main challenges to be sure that nothing is missing and to insure the relevance of the plan.
Who is concerned by the consultation?
You are a citizen, a NGO, a local authority, you have any interest in water issues, you are concerned as well. The consultation is an important part of the development of the water management plan. Thanks to EUWI+ project you have the opportunity to give your comments and feedback on the main water challenges in your region.
