Two Basin Councils meetings in Kherson and Cherkasy

On 16 and 17 May 2019 two Basin Councils meetings were held in Ukraine, respectively the meeting of the Lower Dnipro Basin Council in Kherson and the meeting of the Middle Dnipro Basin Council in Cherkasy.

A River Basin Council Meeting is a platform to discuss the challenges in the river basin district and to take a joint decision for further development and activities. The EUWI+ representative, Ms. Oksana Konovalenko, took part in both meetings. She presented the main achievements and results of the project and outlined the next steps towards the development of the Dnipro RBMP.

EUWI+ is ready to support the river basin councils in developing of the Dnipro RBMP.
