EUWI+ at the EU-Belarus for Youth event in Minsk on 9 June

The EUWI+ project held a stand featuring information on the principle of river basin management plans. Brochures, posters, and video clips aroused interest among visitors.

Discussions and practical exercises were carried out to raise awareness of pollution prevention and water quality and its importance for a healthy life. The most frequent question was on how we can practically influence water quality and the condition of rivers.

Schoolchildren and students visiting the water quality stand analysed samples of river and drinking water using express water test kits, with guidance from EUWI+ experts.
